The CERN Technology Is Not Easily Understood and It Raises Concerns
Our world is full of people who have many believes, and due to their beliefs, they go on and try to do things, which they were not authorized to do.
In today’s article, we are going to talk about CERN, to understand, what this machine is doing in Europe, and what the purpose of this machine is.
According to the website at CERN, this is a European Organization, for Nuclear Research, which is used by physicists and engineers, to explore and study the universe.
The knowledge that we are acquiring from CERN is definitely, opening other dimensions in the universe, which we have not seen before.
The largest and most complex instruments, found in the world, are used in order to understand the basic constituent of matter.
Atoms, protons, neutron, quarks and leptons, are the revolutionary ranges, which scientist claim to be the basic concept of the constituent of matter.
So you can see what the scientists and physicists are doing at CERN, they are trying to take fundamental particles and make them collide together, at the speed of light.
Clues about how the particles interact, are observed by physicists, and insights into the fundamental laws of nature, are provided to physicists as well.
Particle accelerators and detectors, are built into, the instruments used at CERN; in order to accelerate and boost beams of particles, to high energy.
Then physicists are able to take these same accelerated beams of particles, and collide them with each other, or targets, which are stationary.
The collisions between the beams of particles and each other or stationary targets, are recorded and observed by detectors, to produce valuable information about these particles.
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the machine, which is used to accelerate the beams of particles; this machine can achieve an energy, which no other particle accelerator have ever reached before.
The concerns of what LHC is doing, have been discussed for many years, because, the machine may not be safe enough, due to the fact that we don’t understand, what may be created in such high-energy particle collisions.
A number of accelerating structures are used, in order to boost the energy of the beam of particles along a twenty seven kilometer ring of superconducting magnets.
Magnets of different varieties and sizes are used in the thousands, in order to direct the beam of particles, all around the LHC.
The CERN Control Centre houses under one roof, all the controls for the accelerators, as well as its services, and technical infrastructure.
At four locations around the accelerator ring, which correspond to the positions of four particles; the beams inside the LHC are made to collide, using the controls at the CERN Control Centre.
